In video production, we render in order to make the rough video into smooth video. Preparing lard is similar.
We get balls of lard from our farmer. Lard lard comes from pig. When you heat up the lard, it melts. The rough stuff floats to the top, and you can eat it. It's like crispy, fried pig cracklings. The rest of the melted lard is rendered into something really nice to use in cooking. You can use it like oil or butter. But it's much better. Tastes awesome. Doesn't smoke at high temperatures.
Lard is healthy, more healthy than most cooking oils you buy off the shelf. It has vitamins in it, and it doesn't clog or scratch the interiors of your veins and arteries. It has all of the good fats. Vegetables roasted in lard are amazing and crisp, unlike soggy oil-cooked veggies. And using lard helps use all of the animal.
The key point is that rendered lard is one step away from the source. The further you get away from your food source, the worse it gets. And that's the same in your spiritual life too.
In relation to the distance you are from your Source (God, Universe, Cosmos, Consciousness, etc.), the closer you get, the healthier you become.
It's good to be king.
